Caloona Charolais is owned by Louie and Steven Franco. The stud started as a small hobby about 30 years ago and progressed to over 200 breeders before refining it to around 100 elite breeders in recent times.
They have had success showing cattle at numerous local and Royal shows with most recent results being awarded Interbreed Bull and part of the Hordern Trophy winning pair at Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The main aim of Caloona is to produce cattle suitable for commercial producers, with softness and adequate muscle and fat cover.
Mala-Daki Simmentals is a family owned operation established in the early 1990s by Jason and Jacqueline Impey, along with their twin daughters Jennifer and Jessica.
Breeders of red, black and traditional Simmentals and SimAngus with a commitment to producing moderately framed, structurally correct cattle with ideal temperament and carcase traits.
The carcase traits have been recognised most recently being part of the winning Stan Hill Trophy team, which included two Mala-Daki steers and winning Domestic Champion in the RAS Beef Challenge.
